  13. I'm not sure what the latest Borland release for DOS is, but I can say for
  14. certain that you can write DOS executables using Borland's version 4.53,
  15. which is what I have.  You can also do it with Microsoft's Visual C++
  16. 1.52, though this is quite an old version (their newer versions don't
  17. support DOS executables).
